I don’t have a scientific background and am struggling with what ingredients I ought to include and what they mean. I read Jonathan’s blog which is very helpful but I have a difficult time telling what articles are legitimate and which ones aren’t.

Does anyone know of any good websites or guides that give good info on nutrition works?

I don’t want to be a phony! Thanks!

    Hi Sally,

There’s really not a tried and true “for certain” way of deciding how much should go into something.

However, good resources to start with are:

examine.com supplement guide, which you can find here: http://examine.com/store/reference/

nutraingredients-usa.com is a good source for new ingredients that are available.

    My blog :)

The encyclopedia of Natural Medicine is a good overview of how to use different botanicals and vitamins for therapeutic purposes.

I’d say working with these is a good way to get yourself going in the right direction.
